Time and Tide Captain Services, LLC was founded in 2021 to provide a variety of bespoke on-the-water services, including sailing instruction, captained charters and deliveries.
Founder and owner Captain Andy Deen holds both the USCG Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel (OUPV) License and the Master License (25 Gross Registered Tons) with Auxiliary Sailing Endorsement. Capt. Andy has captained a variety of sailing and power yachts in the 32- to 50-foot range.
Teacher at Heart
Capt. Andy is as passionate about teaching as he is about boating. His whole objective is to "work himself out of a job" by helping clients feel confident enough to handle their vessel independently. He was recently recognized as an Instructor of the Year by the American Sailing Association.

The world of sailing and boating can seem intimidating and confusing. Capt. Andy brings his extensive industry knowledge to help guide you along the way. His long list of credentials combined with hundreds of hours on a variety of waters in an array of conditions give students confidence in his proven abilities.
Customizable Training
There is no "one-size-fits-all" mentality here! Discuss your unique training goals and outcomes with Capt. Andy, and allow him to design a course just for you! He can also suggest packaged course bundles. He will take the time to get to know you and make sure you are 100% onboard with the plan before beginning.

Capt. Andy is fully credentialed, timely, responsive to inquiries, punctual and responsible. He takes his job and your time seriously, and he always puts safety first.
He also carries his own policy through Mariner Liability Insurance.
